CD Wishlist
Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism ... I'll probably add to this. Posted at December 04, 2003 at 06:15 PM ESTLast updated December 04, 2003 at 06:15 PM EST Comments
Are you serious? Yeah, Seriously, buying CDs. I thought you would have scammed yourself an American credit card by now in order to get the stuff off iTunes. Cause, ya know, nobody posting on this board would be insinuating that we would do anything illegal like download MP3s. » Posted by: Kibbee at December 4, 2003 11:48 PMDid I say anything about buying? My mom is buying most of them. ;) » Posted by: Ryan at December 5, 2003 12:23 AMOhh.. offcourse not. What I meant is that the 'new thing' is to get your music from services such as iTunes and the new and improved Napster ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) » Posted by: at December 5, 2003 12:27 AMI would use iTunes Music Store if it were available in Canada. My wallet is fuller because it is not. Does Apple care? Maybe, I don't know ... » Posted by: Ryan at December 5, 2003 12:35 AMYeah, I'm in the market for a few new (old) CDs too actually. I'm debating whether or not its worth the trouble to try and contact someone at the bands so I can send them $10 rather than buying the CD and just download it.. *sigh* I miss Twisted Sister. :) » Posted by: peter at December 6, 2003 01:39 AMTry Disco-go-round on Rideau Street (near Rideau Centre). They sell used CDs if you really want to find older stuff... » Posted by: roy at December 6, 2003 02:43 AMeBay might also be a good source ... » Posted by: Ryan at December 6, 2003 06:48 AMNick Perrier introduced me to Nick Drake. Seriously good folk music ... yes, I just said that. » Posted by: Ryan at December 8, 2003 08:39 AMPink Moon...heh. I actually have some of Nick Drake's stuff. His music (Pink Moon) is probably most known for being in the Volkswagon Cabrio commercial... Other than that, I don't think you'll be hearing his stuff on Radio :-P » Posted by: roy at December 8, 2003 05:31 PMHi Ryan. Your wish list is loaded and I am a big fan of Hot Hot Heat too. They are cool but hey, why don't you try these on for size too: "Rain Inside" - FLANNELMOUTH (from Helsinki) They are on my wish list :) » Posted by: RogerRoger at March 23, 2005 02:37 AM |
