Looks Aren't Everything...
What else is new ... I've tweaked my blog. The "tangerine" style sheet I made a while ago has finally reached the whole site. If you find any templates lacking the new style, gimme a holler. As well, I've changed the comment dialog to force users to preview before posting their comments. This will hopefully cut down on blog spamming bots that try to take advantage of my PageRank (5/10) and maybe give people a chance to proofread. :) Posted at November 04, 2003 at 09:46 PM ESTLast updated November 04, 2003 at 09:46 PM EST Comments
Porof read? WHAt's thaT? » Posted by: Jim at November 4, 2003 11:10 PMYou SAVAGE! » Posted by: Ryan at November 4, 2003 11:12 PMYou need a hard rule (hr) tag between each poster. I get confused when reading this new style :-( As well, you see to have update this comment dialog, but not the one for you Media MiniBlog. » Posted by: roy at November 4, 2003 11:31 PMhardrule?!? Things look good to me? Can you post of pic of what you see.. » Posted by: aforward at November 5, 2003 10:38 AMRoy, clear your cache -- I think you might be seeing an old copy. » Posted by: Ryan at November 5, 2003 10:55 AMA hardrule is just a straight line. I like a line dividing up the comments. That way the comments don't look like one giant comment. Probably has to do with the fact that your blog entries are seperated into white blocks, but your comments are not. Can you do the same for your comments? Also the font size in your comments is larger than that of your blog entry. Is that intentional? Cause it looks awkward. My cache is fine :-) I see what you see. » Posted by: roy at November 5, 2003 12:16 PMhee hee... I don't know what you see roy, but I see the comments seperated into white blocks (just like the blog...) » Posted by: Jim at November 5, 2003 12:33 PMRoy, Did you forgot your glasses again... and make sure the monitor is facing towards you, sometimes they can get turned around.. if you see plugs, you are sitting behind the computer... move to the other side :) T. » Posted by: Travis at November 5, 2003 02:51 PMThis is the biggest embarrassment of my life. It was the damn cache. *sigh* » Posted by: roy at November 5, 2003 07:41 PMme knows what an hr is... i was more referring to the confusion you are (or maybe were - has the situation been resolved?) having :-) » Posted by: andrew at November 11, 2003 09:12 AMi just noticed that on the actual page itself http://www.ryanlowe.ca/blog/archives/000753.php I can post directly .... » Posted by: andrew at November 11, 2003 09:12 AMThe thing is, what I saw was an intermediate phase that ryan put. So really, I was seeing only HALF the changes he put. Probably an earlier messed up version...which I thought was the final version. Then after clearing the cache, I saw the third version. The rest of the world saw 2. Oh, and yes, I noticed that the post directly is enabled for this when you click on the link you provided. weird. » Posted by: roy at November 12, 2003 06:46 PM |
