The What Reloaded?
No, I haven't seen The Matrix Reloaded yet. No I don't have a day set aside to see it yet. I'll see it when I see it. It's been four years for crying out loud, I can wait another week or two for the hype to die down so I can get a decent seat this time. :) Yes, that's all I care about frankly ... and I'm not willing to wait in line for an hour to get one. *BUZZZZ* Crap, I just got two geek demerit points. I've seen it twice, and have had no problems getting seats, and no I never lined up. See it and maybe, just maybe, we'll give you *3* geek points back...the extra 1 is a bonus cause I'm feeling generous today ;-) » Posted by: roy at May 20, 2003 02:05 AMHonestly, it wasn't as good as I thought that it would be. They left something out that they had in the first movie... a story. And there are some things that I just don't understand... like, if Neo is The One, why the hell does he have to fight anyone? He can make The Matrix as he wants? And I now understand why the next movie is coming out in six months... it's just an intermission. It seems to be a new fad with movies. (LotR) I wouldn't worry about your points. Just keep on wearing your t-shirts, and you can't loose too many points. ;-) » Posted by: JimboJones at May 20, 2003 05:10 PMI have to agree with Jim. Not as good as the first one, but still worth seeing. I think the main thing that was missing from it was the imagery from the first one. There weren't any Alice in Wonderland references at all that I can remember. I did like them using Nmap though. ( http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/05/18/1416213&mode=thread&tid=188&tid=126&tid=200&tid=97&tid=172 ) Plus, I mean the fight scenes were cool and everything, but just a little too long. Not enough guns. All movies need "Guns. Lots of guns." ;) » Posted by: Peter at May 20, 2003 07:17 PM |
