Maybe it's just me, or Apple is getting more press lately. Is it a coincidence that people are inundated with products in December? It doesn't matter - I'm sold. I'm getting one. Now the only question is "when?" ... pre or post-Xmas craziness? My view is that the price can only go down, and there's certainly no rush. Ever hear of DSL??? » Posted by: ryan at December 6, 2002 12:04 AMHey Lowe, just why do you want to get a Mac? Won't it be harder to move files to / from your other computers? And there is nothing wrong with dial-up... *sniff* At least that is why my momma tells me... » Posted by: JimboJones at December 6, 2002 08:52 AMJimbo: a common Mac myth. It will be just as easy as with a PC. True, there's no disk drive - but who the heck uses those? :) I'll get one with a SuperDrive (DVD,CD-RW) and burn discs instead ... but mostly just use a normal network connection. You can use Windows shared directories with Mac OS X right out of the box. » Posted by: ryan at December 6, 2002 07:05 PM |
